Default Some new mod pics of my BCP xB. 56K ??? not sure

Finally got around to getting some pics of new mods I've added to the xB. Made a more flush plug for the wiper hole that is color matched and my new cleared corner headlights with Pilot chrome bulbs. Also added 1/2 inch OTG style rear spacers to make the rear wheels flush with the fronts. Here are the pics and let me know what ya think.

see........ i never understood why no one likes the pealed door frames. looks sharp!!

good move on the rear hub spacers, ive got a set of 15mm on mine. once again looks sharp!!

i dig the fog lights, ive been wanting to do that same setup, but behind my billets so you don't realy see them when its not on. what brand did you use & were did you get them?

id be willing to sell the knok outs (from the lower grill) after im done if someone want to do the fog light covers like that.

Thanks for the kind words.
The fogs are Pilot brand from Autozone. The lights were relatively cheap at around 20 bucks. The Silverstar bulbs were actually more than the fogs themselves. LOL
The 1/2 inch spacers were made just like the OTG ones but are also black anodized to prevent corrosion. For the rear wiper plug I took an oversized plastic plug and turned it down so it fit inside the hole, painted it BCP and attatched it from the back side with 3M adhesive. It's almost flat from the side view but still water proof.

Love the rims, the drop, the spacers, the color-matched wiper, the shaved emblems, the tails... everything looks nice.

The graphics on the side I dig... but I'm not lovin' the clutter on the back window... just my preference tho!

Abso love the scion on the side and the vvt1 on the back but yeah a bit too busy on the back window. The stock fog light cutout with the grill material is P-M-P-T-Y. Very very nice. I'd like to see sum better pix of your wiper hole mod.

I'll try to get a close up of it later. It's hard to describe how I did it but I'll try...
I used one of those large Ford Van headliner retainer plug things. Put it in a drill chuck and ground it down by spinning it on 250 grit sandpaper. I also smoothed the face the same way using 600 grit. Once it fit inside the hole snugly I cut the center tab off making the back flat. I then painted it with touchup and cleared it. I mounted it to the backside of one of those plastic centercap insignias that was larger than the hole with some 3M tape. Once it was stuck into the hole it protruded just slightly past the paint surface. If I had shaved more off the face it could have been flush. Now at certain angles it all but dissappears. I may make another one using real thin plexiglass the same thickness as the sheetmetal.

I'm gonna go take close up pics now.
Thanks for all the comments so far.
I may thin out the vinyl on the back window later. Some of it will change. I've got a Kawasaki vinyl coming to go where the Strup and Apple one is now.

Yes, the window frames come painted from Toyota. They chose to cover them up with the black tape stuff. It takes some time to remove but well worth it in my opinion.
The bB chrome bumper cover I just got 6 months ago from www.ssuperstore.com .
It's a really nice investment that I'll never part with. Sorry.

Thanks, I freaked out when I first found out they did that. BSP owners don't have to deal with this mod.

Thanks for ALL the comments and compliments!
It's amazing for me to have such good friends on here to talk xB with. This is why your words mean so much to me.
The xB is finally reaching a point where I'm 100% happy with it.
Now with the xB2 out, I decided to show some 1st gen. xB love and added the word "CLASSIC" under the xB emblem to match my avatar. It turned out nice and helps others know this is the original xB.
I'll add some more pics when I get them.
