Over a period of 5 years. i think i've invested way more into the car than I bought it for. so im guessing maybe 18k +++ and that's still not including everything that I've done to the box lol.

 

so I put this list up when i hit like 12k miles on my car. I think it was in jan of 07... now 2 years later, i'm appending to this list.

*for me, this isnt a list of mods per say. it's more a list of the '$' i put into the car for whatever reason - small mods, regular maintenence, etc.

~$380 = front brakes + rotor resurface @ dealer @15k miles - never again!
$30 = set of hubcaps that my friend painted black for me
$150 = my last 5 oil changes
$520 = 30k mile service - recently performed.
$300 = new tires that are waiting to be put on.
$100 = cost to put new tires on (going on next week)
$200 = front + rear brakes at 25k miles. NYC DRIVING IS MURDER ON BRAKE PADS

Total spent on the car ever = $1098 + $1700 = about $2800 dollars....

I bought my xb with cash so $16,700 + 2800 = $19,500 total for the car + expenses afterwards: mods, maintenence, etc.

I'm at 32k miles now and plan on keeping this car forever as long as it doesnt turn into a money pit as it grows older - which i dont think is going to happen. this thing is build solid!
