Does anybody have know how to install the TRD Quick Shifter, if so can yo post?
Also is the length of the TRD Quck Shifter itself shorter then the factory install?

I don't think there is a DIY for it yet. It appears that you have the oppurtunity to make one though.
The installation consists of:
1. 1 bolt holding the center console down at the rear and to clips in the front.
2. 4 bolts holding down the shifter.
3. I think it is 2 clips retaining the linkage.
Put everything back the way it came out and yur done. Pretty simple install. If you have simple mechanical skills you should be able to knock it out in no time.

I belive the shaft is 1" shorter (from the pivot ball to the shift ****), but the shaft is longer from the pivot ball to the linkage.........
PLEASE refer to my post I made about the same topic a few days ago.

I believe the height is the same. I drilled out the chrome ring on the shift boot because the TRD shaft is thicker.
And then I created my own stop on the shaft to keep the boot in place.
Nothing to the install, I put a OBX 'Fatboy' shift-**** in place of the tiny TRD ball.

I installed mine in less than 30 minutes. I used the OEM shift **** as I didn't like the tiny one included in the set. It does sit lower height-wise compared to stock.
