if you get the trd supercharger the dealership will install it for you but i doubt they will put a good amount of psi to it, they will probally do what the instructions say "do not exceed such and such amount of psi"so the full capablities won't be seen for a while. some one has to have cahoonas to tell you what the max gain will be

the TRD supercharger is going to be for the tC only. There's not going to be one for the xA and xB.

They have developed a Turbo for it, it was at SEMA. The scuttlebutt is that it will be released in the next 8 months.

This would be another great thread....favorite South Park episode! I'd have too many to choose from though.

the under pants gnomes
sparky the ___ dog
the red-rocket
the haunted pet shop, shown in barbara streisand "spooky vision"

aaah the memories

P.S. thread hi-jacked. lo siento, someone needs to put it back on track

thanks for the help but i'm sure a company will make a super charger for the xb and sell it in the US with quality power gains
I'll keep looking for one

P.S. I think some of the best south park episodes are yet to come... but the cripple fight and scott tenermen must die still make me laugh even after the fifith or sixth time I see them

I have been told that any super-charger or turbo could potentially shorten the lifespan of a Scion's engine. Could any of the more knowledgeable in this field that have experience offer some facts for those less so...

of course it may damage your engine but the scion engine's aren't exactly corvette Zo6 motors their simple and not free but not expensive when comparing to others
also I have had a turbo honda and a honda with a simple swap and difficult swap and motors can be fixed and repaired to new or even better than knew
I will never use NOS because all the ways to insatll it have never really appealed to me and people always want 100 shot when like a 60 shot would be just fine you know what I mean

just my own personal experience don't take anyything I say personally anyone
Also there are alway people out there that know more so talk to as many people as you can about tunning thats how I learned and still learning

Anything you do will shorten the lifespan of your vehicle. As long as it is tuned correctly, you will be fine.

Btw.. didn't scionvan pick up a motor for like 150 bucks on ebay??@ that price i can afford to blow a couple.

That salesman is an idiot.

There are a few companies out with s/c for the xB's. Power Enterprise has one, and Blitz is developing one...https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5371

Any mods like that will shorten the life of ur engines life, but with the right maintenance and minor upgrades, it should run just fine. trust me, ive got a buddy, we smacked a mad big turbo on his mr2, puts bout 500+ to the wheels. u gotta keep the little things up to speed, like injectors, plugs, etc.
