not just any Supra, the Twin Turbo Supra, in it's final production years. Regular Supra's only get the 2JZ-GE (found in the current Lexus GS300, IS300, and discountinued SC300, as well as a few other JDM cars). The only two remaining US cars running that engine are slated to be updated, as the new GS being released within a few months will supposedly use a V6 3.3L engine, and the IS will more than likely use the same engine in it's succesor, which will be released in 1-2 years. The top of the line GS still gets the V8 4.3L. So it looks like this engine is slated to be axed by Toyota, in favor of V6's, a la Nissan's example. If you want a car that can easily fit a 2JZ-GTE, but don't want to WASTE money on a highly marked up beat up Supra, go for the SC300. There are a few of em (sleepers) that run 800+ rwhp.

yeah ive seen a couple of sc300s here in houston but i think they were auto, were they available in manual? the sc300 must be one of the most under-rated cars cus it has a lot of potential for tuning. and the gs300 is one badass machine...

yeah, but there were only a handful of manual SC300's made. They are rare, but do exist. The GS's never came in manual, but the 400's also have massive potential. But the 300 has more aftermarket support. There was a teardown of a 1UZ-FE (V8 4.0L), and everything is built solid!
