Update:

The dealership is ordering a new exhaust. No fussing or fighting. Way to
go Sandy Springs Scion! It should take about a week to come in, they
think.

Here are some photos so you know what to look for. Notice the soot in the
second image that indicates the exhaust leak

Well as expected I got to the dealership this morning and I insisted on seeing the
part before they in stalled it. Yeah, you guessed it. They ordered the silencer.
I printed this thread and showed it to them. I told them repeatedly not to order the
wrong part. I told them to triple check the part. Yet they still screwed up the order.
And they are our club sponsor, (or they were).

Another rs 2.0 in our club (Coolbusxb) had his exhaust tip fall off this week. While he
was driving. Imagine the liability if that big chunk of Stainless Steel hits someone.

Before I could go check mine when i was on my way home yesterday i shifted gears and my tip fell off. I took it to MOG Toyota and they ordered another tip for me. But on my way home I found my tip and it had been run over and squished to about 1 inch tall now.

The dealer called and said the new exhaust is in for real this time.
We'll see.
