My brother is the service manager at a Chrysler/jEEP dealer, and DC policy is to cover wear items for 12/12. That is what they do.

hmm new to me. i'd spout it off when i promote for dodge chrysler but i'll wait till I can ask a gal from cpdo at dodge.

While my salesman was looking into trading my MT for an AT while it in shipment from the West Coast to KY, a friend took me for drive in his MiniCooper S. I decided I could not give up the control and performance of a MT, so today I told the salesman to let my MT come on in.
For long trips, there's my wife's LeSabre barge.

IMO leaving it in first gear and just working the gas and brake is easier than trying to work 3 pedals and a shifter. Plus the first gear on an xB is so short you'd be constantly going between 1st and second. Also with the stick, the tires are more likly to break traction than an auto. 1st in the auto can be held for a long time, then it would shift into 2nd only when needed automatically.
Fun is different for different people. The auto allows me to concentrate more on my driving line into the corners rather than what gear I should be in at a given time
