Default Vip Tuning! (help)

hey everyone. I have the idea and vision in my head that i am going to vip tune my rs1 xb. I love the vip tuning flavor and i think it would be kool to help create that scene for scions here in the states. There is a problem for me though, i have no idea where to find any vip style parts for my car because its not really popular here in the states so they sell hardly anything here. Ive tried to find web sites by searching but even then its hard. Can anyone help me with this or is anyone working on a similar project and made progress? well all replies would be apreciated so have at it

Where are you located? There are sellers here who can get
you the JDM VIP style kits imported, but it's going to cost
a bundle!

I like a mild VIP setup, so I'd LOVE to get the Nobless body
kit for my box!! Hmmm-mmmm good!

J Line makes VIP-style wheels, One Ton Garage has the VIP'd out Noblesse body kit, you can get coilovers on eBay, and your local auto upholstery shop should be able to hook you up with some button quilted leather.

Most of the interior parts can be fabricated or ordered stateside (wood dash, custom floor mats, feather boas, pillows, shelves, etc).

Curtains can't be too hard to rig up on your own with a little imagination. Everything else is up to the imagination.

VIP is definitely where it's at, with a touch of modern flare.

good luck w/ it

I myself don't really have the VIP taste. But a few of the kits DO look good, as long as the interior isn't filled with plush/pillow and ivory.

thanks man, good info. Another problem is, the pictures i find all other the place and on the net show the exteriors of vip boxes and mini k cars, so i dont know how the hell to even start to set up the interior. The exterior i think i have a vision in my head, but interior im completly blank. So thats my next hurtle, but your post helped! so thank you!

Some VIP Style ideas for seats...

Then of course you must have a table for your passenger seat....

And chrome dials...

Or this....

Not forgeting wood grain all over....

To complete the look, you will need a Fabulous Lei on your front dash...

Most importantly, VIP style needs a Junction Produce Fusa....

One more thing, VIP also need pinstripe on the body....

VIP Interior is basically making your car look like the inside of a bentley.

KaptainE: I am so insanely jealous of your leather seats.

Does anyone want my first born child? I'll trade for the wood interior pieces in black burlwood.

I don't think VIP will ever take off here in the states. It's too "weird" for us Americans, plus we don't have enough attention to detail. I'm afraid we are stuck with the DUB-aesthetic for now (not that there is anything wrong with that).

True VIP is an excruciating attention to detail and careful selection of parts that are of the highest quality. Most Americans who can afford a true VIP car (Infinity, Lexus, etc.) probably would rather spend that extra time and money on buying a better car instead.

VIP Tuning will probably just stay a nice little sub-culture...

In the USA we have "lowrider" style instead of "VIP"

Ultra plush interiors, chrome, woodgrain.... You can find import cars like this in the lowrider scene. That's our version of VIP.

Hey i totally respect and am reved that you want to go the VIP look...

not many people do it and a few friends of mine are heading the "VIP evolution of scions" down here in south Fla...all the people who dont know any better sure will talk trash but to those who KNOW what you are doing and can appreciate it will come to you and let you know mad props for what you are doing. having just being recently introduced to the VIP style i really like the flavor of it...its not something i myself will do but to those that do it ...i salute you. the style is eventually IMO going to eventually change the scene and make the fast and the furious style a thing of the past...its good to be an innovator in this scene and thus creating a new revolution...dude go for it. again this is my opinion and the people i know who are into VIP. I myself am not VIP but i respect it and i appreciate attention to detail.

have any questions ask a friend of mine who is really knowlegdable and really has opened my eyes to the VIP style. i'll PM you his name
