Yes its true, I lost a family member, a brother. Ofc. Uribe was murdered, shot in the face and neck by two car theives. Ofc. Uribe had almost 23 years on the department. As some of you know, I work for the same department as Ofc. Uribe and our precincts butt up against one another. I would see him on calls that bordered our precincts. This is happening all too often. As some of you will recall, several months back we had (2) more murdered, Jason Wolfe and Eric White. Both of those officers worked out of my station. I knew both of them very well. Sometimes I read threads that the police pulled me over, the police did that, the police did this. To tell you the truth, I get irrated at times. We are doing a job that most would not do but are quick to judge. If all the haters think they could do better, take the test and "Change the World." The unfortunate thing is that the society we live in is in trouble. Imagine no police at all. I bet we would lock ourselves indoors and heavily arm ourselves. Please, to all that read this, pray for Ofc. Uribe's family and the fellow police officers that go out everyday putting their lives on the line to protect yours.
