Default What color should i get?

I am about to purchase an 05' xb and im having questions about the color. I am going to order black, but i want to get a paint job to look like the RS01's. I know it is not the true release series, but i wanted to know who liked what color and so forth. Thx in advance for your comments.

So tell me you are going to buy a black and then you want to paint it the Hot Lava color? In all honesty I'd go with some sorta House of Kolor paint. They have a _____en orange pearl called Sunset Pearl that looks nice. Got to a local Autobod Paint supply store and look at some of the color chips for House of Kolor.

If I was buying a box and going to paint the whole car I'd go with a color that isn't a factory color. I'd go with something else just so you can have a different looking box than everyone else. I think the box would be great in a bright blue metallic, bright green metallic, I was even wondering what it would look like in a root beer metallic.

Paint it a color that you are going to be happy with.

Polar White rules, but that Hot Lava is sweet too. If you're gonna get it painted, why not just get a custom color that you haven't seen (stand out in the crowd).

Dude, if you're going through the trouble of repainting your new car, don't make it look like something that came from the factory! Get a color or custom paint that's off the hook that other people don't have.

Blue metallic would look sweet with subtle ghost flames along the fenders.

I would vote on a custom color also. Saw a mini the other day is a fairly light metallic blue and thought it would look great on an xB. Go unique if you are going to have it painted.

I got the thundercloud... only because there was no camo or black in stock. sigh.

I would recommend against painting the car right off the bat, unless you're having some extensive body work done... Nothing beats a factory paint job for longevity.

If I were you I'd custom order some nice jdm wheels with a fat offset that no one has, and save yourself the paintjob headache.

I would actually advise against getting the black if you're planning on painting it. To make a bright color really stand out a WHITE base coat would be ideal. It may save a few bucks if you start with a PW car.

Now, obviously, I really love my hot lava, but these guys are right. Go with one of the HOK orange colors. They have a real eye burner called Shimmerin' Neon Orange that is fantastic. I'm painting my next bike that color. Just wear shades while looking at it.

EVERY body shop should have plenty of paint books and will be more than happy to let you look through them if you ask. Go check it out and pick something that you want to live with!
