What would you do? Honda Fit or xB?
We currently have an 07 Fit Sport in orange that I might trade in an an xB. I drove the xB before we bought the Fit and kinda wish I would have gotten it instead. The nice thing is that I'm getting more for the Fit than what I paid for it on trade.
I just know the Honda has great reliability and already has great resale value....What about the xB? I see them everywhere now. There is a blue xB that has the armrest, taillights, strut brace, fog lights and ipod radio for 16,750. I wanted the stock aluminum wheels too, but we'll see on that.
Any ideas?

It kinda seems like you've already made your decision. I mean you just bought the Fit, but you continued looking at the xB, going so far as to talk trade-in with the dealer. You posted your question on an xB board, where of course sentiment will be skewed toward the xB. So yes. Go with your gut and get the xB.
I looked at the Fit and Yaris, but they felt the same as an xA. A kinda generic compact car (not a flame, just my opinion). The xB is distinctive. Nothing else like it on the road. (Except for maybe the Chevy Astrovan or Honda Element, but even then the comparisons don't really work). The xB is different. You know this. That's why you're still thinking about it.

I like the interior on my Fit, it's a good quality seems like. I did get the Sport model which is nice.
Only thing I don't like about the xB they have is that it has options I don't need like the tailights, strut brace and exhaust tip. I'd rather have the aluminum wheels instead of hubcaps because I'll never upgrade to a bigger wheel anyway.

i would get the toyota dealer to order you an XB rather than buying one off the lot. Resale on used XBs is a few GRAND more than new.
Get a stock model with the wheels you want, and if you want to get extras, buy them aftermarket and save yourself the money the dealership will rape you on install costs and inflated prices.
Example: Interior lighting from dealer: over a hundred bux + install
OR buy some cathodes online, install yourself (not complicated) and do it for 30 bux.

I like the ride height, feel of steering (go kart), and styling of the xB more than the Fit. I know the fit has a nice interior, but nice enough to choose it over an xB? Nah. I did not like getting in and out of the Fit. I know it's a Honda, but I think there's more bang for the buck available than the Fit.
Now on the other hand, if the Fit is the car you dream about, then get a Fit.
