I doubt a Scion dealership would give you more money then you paid for the Fit on a xB.
In SoCal I didn't see any xB's being discounted. That is the only way a dealership will give you more money on a trade then the value of the vehicle. Unless you are trading in on a SUV that costs over 40K and they can discount it by a couple of thousand.

You will lose a least your tax and license on the Fit and repay it again for the xB. Keep the Fit at lease a year and look at the deal again. What you are having is buyers remorse. A lot of people second guess the deals they make and wonder if the made a good deal or have picked out the right car.

I purchased the xB right before the Fit came out and wondered if I should have waited. I am very happy with the xB. Give the Fit a chance. I think you will really enjoy it.

Nope, I got 16,700 for my trade and paid $16,630. Around here the Fit is impossible to get and selling for $18,900 or $19,900 when it only lists for $16,520 new, but no one can find one.

We would have looked at the Fit had it been available when we got the xB.

However, now that we've had a chance to check out the Fit (at least in the showroom .. the only one they had was already sold, so all we could do was sit in it), we're glad we got the xB.

I don't fit in the Fit. I was cramped in the driver's seat, and the back seat was small and cramped for me as well. When sitting in the driver's seat, my legs were bent, and I didn't have much headroom. In the back seat, the base of the front seat was in contact with my shin, and was pretty uncomfortable. I'm only 6'2" (188cm). The xB is our preference.

That's a good reminder: Honda doesn't have Pure Pricing... Scion also has the uniqueness factor. After the initial rush and markup, they'll be blowing a zillion of those Fits out a year...

Haha, damn that'd be nice. Actually we have a 2005 Nissan Murano, 2003 Element EX and now I just bought the xB!

I'd go with the box. I've finally seen a fit in person and I don't like it.

Paddle shifters on a 103hp car?
