The other night me and a group are leaving a club in here in Orlando, Mako's. This girl in our group points out to an orange scion XB in the parking garage-"Omg look at that toaster lol"

I look at her like..."Uh aren't you in for a suprise." So as we prep to roll out I pull up in my black xB and her mouth drops, "OMG You drive a toaster?!?"

She ditches my friend's Trans Am to get inside my ride and fell in love with it.

one day i was at the gas station get gas and a lady beside me was doing the same,she turn to me and ask if my car can get up to 70 mph i was so ____ when she ask that but i did said in my mind why don't you stand in my way and lets see.....

I work with this guy that's some sort of Rodeo Champ, and
is a cowboy in all sense of the word. I was taking the guys
at work out for lunch, and one of them said "hey, lets swing
by and pickup cowboy jim".

I pull up in the box with only one seat open, the two guys
that are already in the box are all over 6' and both are close
to 300lbs. Cowboy Jim opens the door to jump in and says
"quick before someone sees me". As soon as he hits the
seat and closes the door, he looks up at the head room
(him being about 6'4") and goes Holy ____.

That put a big grin on my face.

That same day, on the way to lunch I was caught at a stop
light with a little cavalier next to me. They are staring and
pointing at the wheels and such (box was much lower with
4 large guys in it too), and they motion for me to roll the
window down.

"Hey, your car is boxy"!

I respond with a big grin

"thank you! your car is very common"!

The light changes and I roll off with a box full of guys laughing
into the wind.

That was a good day.

I am getting really sick of how when people say an insult they think that they are the first ones who have ever said it to you, for instance

'nice toaster'
'is that a pregnat roller skate'
'how many horse power? 3?'
'is that electric'
'is that the box the mini cooper comes in'
'what did they do, drop the clay model on the way to production, and just kept it that way?'
'I'll take two good humor bars, and a twin pop'
'how much is a stamp these days mr. postman?'
'how often do you have to feed your gerbil?'
and most of all:

'nice box'

The usual "Box on Wheels", "Toaster on Wheels", "Clown Car", "Mail Box", "Ice Cream Truck". Don't care though, it's a sweet car with a funky style and we like it. We get a lot of looks of 'what is that?' to 'is that a Honda?'. Or, where do you wind it up? How many hamsters? It looks like a hot wheels car.

We use it as our 'family mobile' (3 kids). Our plate (spelled out) says "I Drive a Box" and the back frame says "Because MiniVans Suck!". The front one will say, "Nice MiniVan, is that the sport version?" I'd rather drive a box than a van anytime!!!!

Too bad people can't appreciate the Scion.

Oh, and how come after they say things like that and you want to say something REALLY mean and cutting you can only come out with something lame and you are left on the drive home thinking of ways that you could have reall cut them and cut them DEEP!? When we 1st got our box people would say "hey its a box" NO S***!! It states right on the windshield My Lil X Box!!!!!! But Whenever anyone say anything rude or obnoxious I just tell them here sit in it. Now tell me what you think. Its a whole new experience. My Husband even hated it at 1st. But one day to shut me up we went to our locla dealership and we got inside one -- He (and I) were hooked!!!!
He is even thinking about trading in the 02 stang for a box. We shall see!
