What's the difference?
The Southern Belle accent is very proper. Think Deputant. The trailer version is what you see on COPS.
I see - y'all are talk'n 'bout dialect - not accents. Thank ya for the clarification.

Well, I have to admit that I didn't like the xB when I first saw it... I was really glad that my dh (dear husband) got a tC instead. However, as we were filling out the paperwork for the tC, I sat in an xB just for something to do. Well, I wasn't sure it was so bad after all. A year later, we bought my BCP xB and I really love it. So there is something to having doubters trying them out. (Even my sons stopped picking on it when they got in and didn't hit their heads on the ceiling.)

We've just decided to "embrace" the boxiness of it. In fact, I'm thinking of getting a magnetic sign (suggested by my son) made for it, with a black arrow and the words, "This side up" But all this talk about "clown car" has me thinking about dressing getting us all dressed up in costumes and going to the mall. Or better yet… doing a Chinese fire drill at a busy intersection.

Oh, for the person that had the rich snobs stick their nose up at a "Toyota"... you should have said it was, "associated with Lexis."

My daughter has mentioned a number of times that there are people pointing at our car and laughing as we drive down the road. (Usually truckers) I've never seen them. I'm too happy just enjoying my wheels and keeping my eye on the road. In fact, I’m thinking of getting plates that say, “HAPPYPLC”… might as well give them something to think about.

Other driver... "I'm sorry... It's just so ugly!"

Me... "Yes, it is boxy... but it get's 40 mpg and I just put $25 to fill the tank. My 6'1" boys have plenty of room and I'm paying less monthly for this car than my mini van... even with rolling over some of the old loan."

Other driver.... silence.... mouth hung open... walks away muttering... That thing gets 40mpg!!???

The one I find to be the best, seems more funny then anything. I had my xB parked next to a friends xA. This guy looks at them & says "WTF that little one looks like a shoe that came out of the box"

Ouch, I got that one today as well. When I called my insurance to ask about a statement, they said which vehicle the scion van? I think my insurance classified it that way. Doesn't bother me too much, my insurance on my 06 xb is only $5 more a month than my 2000 s10 was.

Last night I was sitting outside my friend's house when his mom shows up. It was getting dark and she's looking over my car. She says "What is that... a Kia?"

I'm out on bail, court date is on the 27th.

Before I bought mine, my manager asked: "Don't those things have an age limit?"
