I own a tc and love the XB too. My wife and I were out in the franklin mills mall and said to me after telling her that the "box" grew on me. She said "well that thing is still ugly and it hasn't grown on me yet. All the XB owners turned arround and said at the same time "IT GROWS ON YOU" hahahaha

Guy at the gas station asked me about the "ereaser" I was driving. He was laughing, until I asked him where he ahd his "shaved" door handles done. (Scary job...all BONDO, no plate weld in). Dudes all proud tells me and wanted to know if I wanted to go have them done. I pointed out to him and said "Naw, that much bondo would kill my gas mileage by half a mile"......His credit card was denied as the station...stranded in a Dodge 2500 gas guzzler...beat down by an "eraser"....

Have not had anybody really insult the box, most people I run into like it. I did have my windshield replaced a year ago and the seal was not a good one. It made this high pitched squeak anytime I was over 65mph. My boss was with me before I had it fixed and she said that I had a queefing box. I laugh everytime I hear a squeak coming from my box now.

cant say i remember any specific insult to be a big deal. usually just get comments from little caviler ricers. like Dwatts said, you can usually pick out a good comeback after one glance at their pos.

lol i haven't had that one believe it or not, but i did, no lie, have someone call it a PT Cruiser. I was almost brought to tears and nearly traded it in! (kidding, i love my box!)

I've got a white one, and people refer to it as the maytag because it looks like a washing maching on its back. I get them back because my friends have a great relationship bonded together by verbally abusing one another.

Some people at work asked me what color it was, i said thunder cloud, so now they call it thunder clap. they refer to it as a new std.
weird observation though, in the past month, ive noticed two different chicks sitting passanger in big a.ss trucks pointing and laughing at my box. i dont know if they felt compeld to do that becuaese they felt superior in there big redneck mobiles? whatever.
Im sure this is complety different for people in major cities or cali, but hear where i live it seems like alot of people have never seen one of these things, they act like its a new car, anyone else experience this?
