Window Lock Button
Okay, I searched very thoroughly about this and found nothing related. So if you can find this in a prior thread then you are a better searcher and most probably a better person.
Anyway, in every other car that I've had, the windo lock button on the driver side door locks all controls on the other three doors. However the xB locks my controls too. Why? I mean half the fun is rolling someone's window down on them when their cold, or keeping their window up when a foul stench has been unleashed on the passengers. but more appropriately, i think there is a bit of a safety concern here that i can't raise lower windows without giving controll to the passengers, which could be a problem with kids, dogs, etc. any thoughts?

Verbal commands... If I tell my kids to get their sticky paws off the window controls, I should ONLY have to say it once.
I think it was just an economical way of doing it. Translation = they cheaped out.

Hmm, I never noticed that, I'd have to check that out...Usually when locking the windows, you as the driver can only open your window, and can't open the others, that's the way it usually is with other car's I recalled.

I was quite annoyed with the window locks myself. My fiance has a 01 grand am and when you use window locks the driver can still control all windows. She has 3 boys and my Xb is now the vehicle of choice so not being able to lock them without losing control is a concern. If anyone finds a mod, let me know. Im not much of a wiring guru but if anyone has access to a grand am they might look into their window lock system. Id try on her car but she would kill me. besides I dont want to mess hers up, we want to trade it in for a RS 3.0 lol.
