Thanks for the info on your setup. I actually decided to install these and wire them to the dome light:

I am thinking about getting the version of these with the black housing and 6 LEDs. I was going to put 4 in the cabin - one each above the driver and passenger, and the same location but above the back seats. They come pre-resistored so they'll need barely any work... I'm going to connect them to the wires in the dome light that way they come on when the doors are open. It should light the inside of the box up like a christmas tree. =P

Out of all the locations where you installed LEDs, which did you find the easiest? Meaning, which location took the least amount of time/effort to install the LEDs? I barely have anytime to go to the frickin' bathroom (work + school) so I want a mod that's quick and effective!

Thanks,
- sh00k

Make sure you do a search on wiring to the dome lamp, I've seen a few posts lately where people have screwed something up (likely the light module/relay) when wiring to the dome lamp. Don't want to make something cool into something pricey and aggravating.

all of the mods are gonna take some time. cause if you want to hide the wires it gonna require you to take off the dash. probably the easyiest to mount was the door grab leds. just make sure you get the led holders for them that way you dont have to micky mouse it and have it look like crap. take ur time and make it look good, is all i can say.

Dude, I don't know if you mentioned this or not, but where did you place the "project box" that your project board sits in? I think i'm going to do exactly what you did with the exact same components just with more LEDs (about 18 of them)

Don't call me a copy cater!

Do the rear speakers AND the access panels for the tailights.

IMO that would look good.

That is one of the coolest mods ever, I would have never thought of that. Nice, unique and good looking
