Got my Polar White xB 5-sp last night around 5pm. in WS, North Carolina. The crew over at Modern Scion were great. It took long enough to get my new toy. As I placed my deposit back on 1-9-04. They said it would be in on the 3rd or 4th. Man do I love this thing. I couldn't even park at the mall without getting mobbed "who makes that?" and "what is that?" Well as with all my vehicles I have a long project ahead of me.

This Civic Si was behind and he was checking it out and when I made a turn, I saw him turn his head to check out the Box. Then I saw a Mini behind me just staring at the liftgate ( pondering:"is that the box that my Mini was shipped in? "), or maybe because his Mini is so low that he can't see that well...LOL.

I haven't even had my xB for 24 hours yet and I have it at the shop getting the windows blacked out. Looks great with the black windows and the polar white paint. Will get some pics up as soon as the rain stops. Next comes the rims , springs , alarm and stereo. Ehhh already tired.

 

yeah when I first got my box I was stuck at light and a guy in a really nice gold Si in Monterey Park (the one with the chinese dragon going down the side, and it actually looks nice) was giving me the thumbs up after yelling alright a Scion !!! And I gave him the thumbs for a nice graphic...

 

I put my deposit in on 12/15/03 ... still havent recieved my xB ...

 

*I know exactly how you feel about getting the first XB in town. People couldn`t resist to stare @ my Xb, Now almost a year I`m still getting a lot of peeps looking @ the car and I can see some of them almost had an accident

 

Don't worry, people will start saying..." Isn't that one of them there new skyones... or sygones. or c-onns." You will get use to it. I live in Cali, and people still say.." hey thats a cute little thing." Im a fire figher you ding dong.. it's RUGGED!!

 

I was trying to decide on a custom plate. It finally dawned on me after owning my nano bus for two days.

Well the window tint turned out looking great. My Goldline springs will be in Monday and am still deciding on rims. As far as stereo I have three boxes of things I pulled out of my 98 Dakota R/T with the 360 in it. Big decrease in engine 5.9 down to 1.5 , but increase in mileage. Dakota had 300hp and got about 15mpg. Now dont even worry about it.

I put my deposit on a Polar White xB back in December and I'm taking delivery of it next week. I got the first Polar White xB in Massachusetts. Post some pics of yours when you can. I'll do the same.

 

Blue Onyx Pearl. I have not yet done any mods yet that were not options. Just cup lights, leds, and alloys. I am going to have a fiberglass or MDF console custom built. I am going to have it custom made with an "indented tray" (for lack of a better term) I can strap my iBook into the console (12V power) and play DVDs/audio for the rear passengers. I also going to have speakers built into the console and possibly an armrest too.

 

ahhh....the good ol days of getting mobbed wherever you go....i miss it...i'll always have the memories of the "what kinda car is that?" questions
