Default Wrecked my RS3.0 =*( PICS **UPDATED**

Sad to say, but here's another one. I rear ended a tC a few days ago and here is the result. I admit, it was totally my fault. I wasn't given any tickets even after I yelled at the cops about towing my car. So far the insurance adjuster said he was going to have it fixed. I did hit pretty hard, so who knows what the underlying damages are. But NO ONE WAS HURT! I had to crawl out of the passenger side bc my door wouldn't open. Ive got a huge black and blue in the shape of my seatbelt. But I am so lucky to honestly be ok. After it was all over I think I was in such shock all I could do was say, "Hmmm even the airbags have green stitching." Then I cried.

This is the first accident ive EVER been in. I don't know what to expect from my insurance company. How long it takes to fix (if they fix it). And if they consider it totalled how long does it take to decide. Because there's an RS4.0 sitting on the lot here that I would love to ****** up. But I really just want to take my baby back home with me.

Update:
I went to see the car today and pick up some of the insurance information. I took some pictures of the green stitching. For all of you that were curious. It was one big circle of green stitching that was the front and center of the airbag. The rest was typical white.

Man I hate to detract from your unfortunate situation, but is the stitching on the airbags really green, and if so, can we get some pics?

Thanks.

It's ok, I understand. The stitching was seriously green though. Am I the first one to notice that? I'll go check on the car this week and see if I can take some pictures of the airbag.

Eh, the tC was the red-headed stepScion anyway. Now, if it had been an xA this dude hit... well, I'd really be concerned if the twins were turning on one another. o_0

I was almost in an all-Scion pileup last year. I was minding my own business in the left lane, thinking "hey, neat, another xB!" just ahead and to the right of me. It was pouring, naturally.

Suddenly this tC comes whipping out of freaking NOWHERE, missing the other xB by like six inches, but only because the xB swerved at the last second......right in front of me. I slammed on the brakes and went shrieking into oncoming traffic, and miraculously, none of us hit any of the others. o_0

It was kind of funny, because I was on the phone with my boyfriend through the whole thing, and when I started howling he was like "WHAT'S WRONG?!" And I was like "J***S F*****G C****T, I WAS JUST ALMOST IN AN ALL-SCION PILEUP!" and I told him what happened.

And he said, I kid you not: "Whoa. They you'd all have been xA's."

Yes, we're still dating.

Horrible horrible, yet too funny. I like the tC almost as much as the xB. But the xB is more for my fun personality type.

Someone asked how fast I was going, I honestly don't know. I really don't remember anything, all I can replay in my head is the loud bang. I don't think I even had a chance to stop...

first off, glad to see that no one was injured. Secondly, I hope insurance fixes it because Envy Green is the greatest.

But WTF, it seems that every week there is at least two threads about someone wrecking his or her box or tC. Are we trying to put Scion on the endangered species list or what. I dont know what to say exactly, it just sucks to see cars that I enjoy getting all bashed up every freakin week.

Well everyone please stay safe out there on the roads

I wonder.. There was a another thread with a RS4 getting "badly" injured.. If RS's are totalled.. would this affect the value of the other RS's since there's less of them out there now???

wow totally ____ty and sorry to hear. glad you are ok. i think it will get fixed. my friends cobra was totalled 3 times and his insurance fixed it. so it can happen. if its close to the blue book of the car i think they will give you the option... depends on the insurance. never quite been in the same situation as you but ive seen others go through it. Good observation on the stitching as it seems to be the hot topic lol. Everything will be fine im sure.. Good Luck
