I'm looking to purchase a 2006 in the next few weeks. Being that the new model is coming out soon ( I believe in April) will it be hard to get a 2006?

there will be a lot of people trading in their boxes to get the new box too. I will be trading for a new one if the price is right.

At this point, you're going to be limited to what's on the lot... that being said, they're still out there. Act fast if you want to have some choice in color.

I bought mine in November, and my dealer said that I was very, very lucky to find a manual in the color that I like at that point in time. As it gets closer to the launch, new ones will be harder and harder to come by.

I just bought mine about 10 days ago. I had to visit a few dealers in town to find exactly the color/accessories I wanted, but i found one and am very proud to own one of the last 06 xBs!

I'm sure Scion dealers have access to a database telling them what's available and where... My own came right off the lot, but my wife's PT cruiser came from a different dealership, across town- they apparently have ways to work things out, get the customer what they want...

The supply of new ones is fast disappearing... but there will probably be a bump up in the supply of good used ones when the new model hits the lots...

Depends on what you want- given the pricepoint and the low depreciation, New seems like the way to go, if you can...

The dealer had to search 12 states to find a 06.5 PW 5spd and only found one... I pick it up tomorrow

If you want a 5spd you better get on the ball, every dealer had an automatic.

There'e none available were I live. Although there's a Salsa Red in the showroom, it been sold already and the customer will picked it up within 2 weeks. Delear's aren't unlocking the doors for this one nor either test driving it
