Default xB a get away car?

I was just watching my local news & they showed some video of "high speed" chase that involved a 1st gen xB. I believe it happened in Cali (?). The funniest part was watching the lady driver do a cookie on the shoulder of the road to avoid a police car. She even got out at one point to ghost ride her whip and give the cops the bird. She also reached speeds of over 100mph!!
The only sad part was watching the police fail 1 PIT manuever (tore rear bumper off) and then the last one that worked .... took 3 police cars to box her box in
I think it was on FOX news this morning.... I hope someone can find & post a link to the video.

Disclaimer---I do not condone running from police and am very thankful that no innocent people or police officers were hurt.

Ok.... you guys are too awesome. I'm a NorCal person who is transplanting to SoCal (my husband and I both drive modded boxes) and I saw this on the news here in NorCal and after I was done laughing I was quite ____ed. Why? Because for the most part xB's fly under the radar in SoCal... (unless you are EXTREMELY obviously modded)... but it's mostly the tc's that get picked on. Sucks but true.

Now we're all going to get a more critical eye from the cops. With the lame maneuvers from the cops I'm surprised they didn't try to have the helicopter overhead tap her roof. LOL

Don't get me wrong I am a BIG proponent of the police force, and went to the Candle Light Vigil for the fallen Oakland Police Officers last month. I have family who were police officers and I respect them greatly, but this was a major fail all the way around.

Makes me think twice about getting the vinyl of HarleyQuinn brandishing guns on my roof. LOL

No kidding!! Wow.. they're just showing it over and over and over... You think they'd be doing that if it was a Honda? LOL

also we should point out that xB owners worried about the cops targeting them because of this shouldnt be worried.

This wasnt a traffic violator, she assaulted officers after a domestic dispute call and took off.

I dont think this puts xB's on cop's radars more than before.

Good point.... I guess I'll retract some of my previous anger. I still think there is a bit of a skewed viewpoint on people who drive that kind of car when you see idiocy like that. Thankfully it is LA, and all we have to do is give it 24 hours or less before someone else does something equally as stupid.

Drop-off kids at school -- check
Shop for groceries -- check
High speed chase with police -- check

Just goes to show how truly versatile an XB can be.
