The few dealings that I have had with sprints are they are soft and some sag issues, these cases were friends with honda's. Tanabes are good choice, so are Tiens, Goldlines & eibachs.

Here's mine. These pics were taken about 5 minutes after installing the Megan Racing springs (1.8F, 2.0R). $120 shipped, and they sit real nice and low. Ride isn't too shabby either.

Did you measure the actual drop after putting on the Megan springs? Their site is confusing. In one place it says they drop 2" front, 1.75 rear, and in another place it says 1.85" front and rear. I'm confused.

I really didn't, however, I can tell you that it *looks* more like 2" all-around, if not a tiny bit more. They haven't settled yet, that usually takes a couple weeks. So 5 minutes after the install I was only able to get one finger in between the wheel well and the tire (215/45/17). Now it is less after 3 days. Can't complain for $120 shipped. I'd be willing to bet they will be as low as the DF210's.

If someone can do me a favor and measure the arch of the wheel well to the ground on a level surface with the stock 15" steelies on the front and back, I can provide an "after drop" comparison. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Be sure to keep us updated on the drop and the ride after everything has settled.

Ok.. I went out and measured. In all 4 wheel wells, at the top of the arch, it is EXACTLY 25.0 inches from arch to ground. Given the fact that I am running a taller tire than stock, anyone who can give me a stock measurement with stock steelies will be much appreciated.

I am running 215/45/17's which are 0.9 inches taller than the stock 185/60/15's. So, someone please get me a stock measurement, arch to ground, on the front and back and we can get this "how much of a drop?" thing settled. :-)

My car is the one with the 5 spoke rims. I have 17's with TRD springs. The car with the black rims has 18" Motegi rims and Tein S-Tech springs.

I am not happy with my drop! I should have gotten the Tein S-Tech's or Hotchkis springs.

just a random question but why does everyone use the wrong size tires on 17's?
i mean 215/45/17? does no one know that this is wrong? geez. nothin lik raisin up yer car while messin up yer speedo in the process. does get rid of a very small amount of fender gap tho. but still.

I went with 40's, but some people dont have the best roads. Here in MN, there are potholes every other section of the road. I for one dont want to dent a rim....

They're not the "wrong" size tire... The speedo thing is fine by me, so it's off 3.7% at 60mph, big deal, I can keep track of that. More side wall and contact area means less probability of bending or curbing a rim and gives a better ride while filling the wheel gap a little better. It will only throw off the speedomoter, the actual odometer reading will be accurate as the car uses the VSS to track "actual" mph and odometer readings. The speedo is not getting the same readings the VSS is getting, just FYI. 205/40/17 doesn't match stock perfectly either, the speedo will still be very slightly off. I can't trust that I will only be driving on perfect roads, and as easy as it is to have a rim replaced, I'd rather not have to deal with it.

Less probability of a bent rim.
Better ride.
Better wheel well clearance.

Doesn't seem like the wrong size tire to me.
