I wouldn't consider the xB to be a sleeper at all. I've tried sleeping in it once and even though i was pretty smashed i was still unconfortable. maybe it's just me tho. :?

A sleeper is a normal looking car that hauls a$$! I don't think it's possible for an xB. I wouldn't even want that much power in an xB. Doesn't seem sturdy enough, IMO!

I'm not bashing, but my previous car was a Honda. You beat two riced out Hondas. That is nothing really to brag on.

The time in your sig is a 10.6 in the 1/8th. Your time was better than 3/4 of the cars out there. That was a HUGE rice race! 10.6 is not impressive for a "racing" vehicle, IMO. Just wasting gas and wasting the spectators time. I hate when I'm at the local track and these cars come out with their HUGE wings, fart pipes, LED wiper lights, and altezza tails thinking they're the $hit. They just sound like $hit and move like $hit!

Proabably because they're not trying to race. Seriously, if you go around racing an xB that is sad. Might as well race mini-vans, Echo's, and Geo Metro's.

Again, not trying to bash but there's no point to race an xB when it runs 10's in the 1/8th.

Here is me and my Hybrid at the local 1/8th track:Me vs. GSR teg

Me vs. cavilier (sp?) then RX8
This is where I launched at 4k and just spun / wheelhop. Came out of vtec going into 2nd and had to catch up to the chevy. The guy in the RX8 had just got the car and made a few runs.

Sure its a sleeper, but I don't think it would be comfy to sleep in for any more than 2 people.

it is a sleeper i think. in the sense that a manual xB is a lot faster than people think it is. sure it's not a race car, but it's still a sleeper. and if you're getting a 10sec 1/8 mile, what does that equate to in the quarter, cause isnt the first half the slower half?

its actually suprising.

I tore a neon sxt apart.
i beat an accord but it was pretty close.
and i beat a civic hatchback. that was modded.

i love when these guys pull up next to you at a stop light. then get taken by the xb's quick take offs lol. btw a mr2 twin turbo raped me lol..

We took off and all the sudden i hear a blow off valve so i just get off the accelerator and let him win hehe.

The xB is not by any means a racing cehicle. I use to drag a Dakota R/T with a 360. We had guys with R/Ts that were turning 9+ sec quarter miles. They were beating Vipers down at Rockingham. During the Mopar weekend. The weekend I raced the Hondas we had just gotten finished racing two xB for the hell of it. I had just put in my supercharger and everybody wanted to see what a difference it made. If you want to have a little more fun in your box install a supercharger ,if its in your budget. I guess if nobody wanted to hopup our boxes we would all be using them to get groceries and hall the rugrats around. I was racing that weekend because I haven't seen a box on the track.

IF you do a lot of engine mods, then yes, it's a sleeper.

IF you just want to lie down in the reclined front seats, then it sure is a sleeper.

Nice I always loved the earlier Zz cars it's funny that a smallblock is the same or less weight than the six that came in em. What kind of 1/4 did it run?

Personally i think it's a sleeper with a turbo. Besides the fact you have a B.O.V. when i was keeping up with a rsx type s 6 speed he was suprised. A stock auto xb isn't no sleeper though which is the reason why i bought a turbo. I have the stock hubcaps on still. I look stock.

I would say (if this makes sense) the car isnt fast, but it zips. And i think most who know what i'm talking will agree.

Sleepers don't have fancy wheels, wings, and clearly visible roll cages.

Sleepers have stock hubcaps, a tissue box on the dash, a big quiet muffler, and a ton of horsepower under the hood.
