Default Not enough hp

I don't think we'll be pulling the camper with the box this summer.

I would not be towing anything with an xb. It is dangerous. The car is not designed for any kind of towing.

Crossing the street is dangerous.

No car is designed to be a tow vehicle. Unless you buy a semitractor, towing is an afterthought on them all.

No car is designed to be a discotheque either, but I see a lot of xBs with lights and stereos to make it into one. These too could be considered more dangerous than a stock vehicle.

With a good hitch, prudent loads, and careful driving the Scion can pull a trailer as safely as any other car. To make a blanket pronouncement that "it is dangerous" doesn't really show any independent thought about the situation.

The Curt Hitch here !! Works great !!

Hot water heater, a refrigerator, a roll of carpet........No problem.

Somebody said it here, the word is "responsible towing". They have been towing with little 1 liter cars overseas for longer than most people on this board are old. Only the American car manufactures make us think that we need a 5.7 liter V8 to tow. A boat or something, maybe. But 4 bikes.....The xB will just fine.

Responsible towing.
