OK, so minus the nitrous you're at about what 112 hp?

HERE GOES:

Blaming Street Racing on teenage deaths is like blaming Spoons for Rosie O'Donnel for being fat.

well, i saw a similar quote on the back of a motor home, it said:

"blaming guns on columbine is like blaming spoons for rosie o'd being fat"

the same i think goes for street racing;

im guilty of racing on the street, but im not a dumbass. there's a safer way to do everything... but then again, ive seen someone die in a 'loss of control' situation
makes you wonder y someone would race on a street they didnt know like the back of their hand... but then again; i havent raced since

RIP that dude in the mustang..he took out 80 feet of chainlink...

Do you not know how to add? The ngk plugs THEMSELVES add at least 100whp.

usually i drive like my grandma! cuz i'm trying to goddamn save gas! But as i've mentioned b4, i was kinda late for an important client meeting! Plus, was comments like that really necessary!? I was accelarated to 60-65ish on a 45 mph road! Technically it is against the law BUT I know you don't drive under the speed limit ALL THE TIME. and I bet most people here don't either! so don't be hypocrite

ONE more thing! whats up with all these teenager/kid bashing crap? How did we even get to that?

If you have read this whole useless post... i've mentioned that it is NOT ONLY about HP/Torque... its about Power to Weight ration and gearing.... 600HP/500 torque don't mean ____ if it only has 1 long ___ gear with 4 27lbs rims. Just had to post this, don't appreciate such condicending comment....

did you mean "condescending"? And, if you can't tell, I don't care about your hp, torque, Power to Weight Ratio, or your gearing. I'm sure others are interested, or something....I care more about your "racing". Please sit down and think about something. Speeding and Racing are not one in the same. Simply doing 60 or 65 in a 40 or 45 zone is not the issue. Are you going to tell me that you drive the same when racing as you do when you speed?

I hope this helps, because I don't think I can dumb it down any more for you.

Best of luck

Doing 60-65 is not the issue, HOWEVER, that is EXACTLY what I was doing whether racing or not.... as I've mentioned b4, I know it is not right and I have no intention of promoting such activity whether this thread itself does or not!..... All i'm trying to point out is all the people that are saying "dont race... blahblahlbah are hypocrite! I understand what I was doing can be dangerous but does these people understand the hypocracy when they pass judgements like that? I don't think so! Don't tell me that you never broke any laws and under any circumstances NEVER break any laws!

Yeah so listen to this, I just got my box a few weeks ago, no mods whatsoever performance wise. I'm heading to a restaurant with a bunch of my friends. My friend rafael has a pimped out 97 maxima with aftermarket exhaust and he gives me the heads up. And I'm thinkin to myself, yeah right a frickin box is gonna beat a maxima with mods on it. So we go, and he's obviously letting me win, at which point he floors it and gets up to 80 from 40 in about 2 seconds, and the big blue box is still chuggin along. So thats my racing story. I didn't win, but my car still has more head room and a nicer interior, so HA!!!!

If you can afford to buy the box/hatch, if you can afford to buy the mods for it, and if you can afford to fix the sh*t you break... then you can afford to race it legally on the track. Its fun and all... but I've seen to many cars crash, let alone see too many people die from street racing. I've done it before and if its all about me being stupid... then let me kill myself on the track with my own stupidity and not drag anyone else with me... unless course, they're in the passenger seat :p
