Anything Relating to HID

I'm just terrified because they came out really greenish yellow, and I've never seen anyone here in Jacksonville rolling with green lights (apart from underglow).
Now there's always some dude driving around on the interstate with purple lights, and I don't know how he gets away with it.

And if you're worried about blinding people, your xB projectors are designed to NOT blind people. The light is focused really well.

The xB projectors do a pretty good job of focusing a xenon beam. They're really good at it, even though they are designed for halogens only.

There is light above your cutoff line which = glare which = blinding people. I had hids too at one point and I too was never flashed. It doesnt mean I wasnt blinding on coming traffic. Adjusting your lights lower sacrifices light distance so you see less further down the road.
And no the stock halogen projectors dont do that great of a job with hids. The beam width is short and it throws light above the cutoff. They are poor to decent at best. If they did such a good job they'd be factory equipped and approved by the DOT.

Oh for sure, we can agree hids are nice! I actually want to install another one in my low beams. I miss the 5k "pure white" light I use to have. My eyes have gotten use to the h9 bulbs I installed a year ago...

Sorry, but they are just too damn sexy to ignore. HIDs are great, but they suck in cars like Cadillac Escalades and other large, ostentatious cars.

lol we are getting HID's for our suburban xD, later on maybe by some depo headlights and retro fit some Lexus Rx Projectors.

If you never adjusted your headlights after installing the NF210's, then yea, they'd be shooting too high. Ideally you want to park on a level surface, facing a wall/fence/garage door/etc. with the front bumper of the xB about 25' away. Adjust as necessary so that the top of the low-beam cut-off is 30"-32" above the ground. Many people adjust the driver side just a tad bit lower than the passenger side, to prevent the HIDs from blinding oncoming drivers.
