All orders placed before 3pm PST yesterday have been shipped and you should have already received a tracking #, if you didn't, please call 860-821-8212, your order might be delayed due to

(1.) needing confirmation because you input different billing and shipping information
(2.) your order did not go through

Thank you!

As far as I'm aware, the only changes to the 2010 xB is standard and optional audio. Everything else remained the same.

Hi, Thanks!

To: ragarcia419

If this is the case then the bulb type for 2010 XB is same as 2009

2009 SCION xB
Low beam headlamp
H11

http://www.hidextra.com/HID+Conversi...rsion+Kit.html

High beam headlamp
9005

http://www.hidextra.com/HID+Conversi...rsion+Kit.html

Don't forget to use the coupon code: scionsp-w to get $15off each kit and if you are purchasing both, make sure to do separate transactions so you can input the coupon code for both.

Thanks!

Just buy the H11 low beam kit. You don't need HIDs for the high beams... they're already bright enough, and HID conversions don't work well if you want to flash your high beams at anybody for any reason (because of the warm-up time). You can see how much better the low beam kit works by checking out my pics on page 2 of this thread.

ohh ok thanks for the info. So u mean to say its not necessary for me to get the high beams? in that case ill just get the low beam kit.

well the reason for all this is that i have really bad eye sight at night. i alrdy have glasses, but i just wanna get hid's to enhance my sight at night. So if you recommend the low beams then i guess thats what im going with.

And also, is it illegal to have 6000k hid's? if so should i just stay with 5000k? or is the difference between 5k and 6k not too significant?

Legally speaking, all aftermarket HID kits are illegal. The lower the kelvin rating, the less probability of being pulled over (because they don't look as blue), and since you are looking for better lighting for visibility you will get the largest lumen (brightness) benefit from the 5000k vs. the 6000k. Just get a set of the 5000k H11 conversion kit and you will be absolutely happy. You're about to spend $$ on something that will improve your light output, so getting the most output with the lowest probability of any problems is a no brainer. I live in Cali, where we have the biggest problem with mods, and I haven't had any problems at all. I've followed Johny Law at night with no problems, just make sure you check the height of your cutoff & adjust it down if necessary after you put the HIDs in.

Yes, they come with install instructions. Cutoff is the height that the lights stop projecting above the ground because of the internal cutoff of the projector beam housing. If you put on lowering springs, they usually lower the rear more than the front, which makes the headlights aim a little higher. Headlight aiming is easy to adjust; where in Cali are you? I can help out if you're in the S.F. bay area, or give you referals for help in the central or SoCal area. I also know somebody that can help in Vegas if you need that.

HI,

Are you talking about Daytime Running Light? It's ok if it's on, but if you don't need it during daytime, it's good to turn them off. All bulbs have their maximum life and the more you use them, the faster their life will burn out.

Thanks~
