i blacked mine out few months ago - i was hesitant to put them in the oven but did it anyways. i smoked the side reflector with the nite shade spray - turned out pretty good imo. i had a problem with my passenger side getting condensation in it so i had to take it out and just put another bead of silicone around it and havent had a problem since.

no i didnt use the nite shade for the headlights. just for the corner lights so they r still useable. i used krylon fusion flat black i believe.
