Yes, Pyroman131 did provide a link for the ones he ordered.

However, I was asking stick_1NZ. Not sure if his came from the same site.

Mine are being imported from Japan, and I'm following the tracking information on UPS.

It's funny, because the mirrors have already left Japan tomorrow in the future. I signed up for the time travel shipping.

Man they're good. lol

I've also been told they also reduce reflective glare at night, but I've never had them to see for myself.

As ocotillo said, I'm doing it just for the women.

This is one reason that I'm taking interest in the blue mirrors is because they are made out of a special coating that not only reduces glare from other headlights, but also has a rain coating that allows for greater clarity with raindrops and things like that. I wanted to get one ever since I began seeing a ton of the new Acura TL's and Acura MDX's driving around with blue mirrors. It just looks super sexy.

I'm not sure how well this will work to the extent that I've heard it will be difficult to use them when backing up at night. I've only heard this from word of mouth but never from anyone official who has done it before. I think the results will be less desirable, but should achieve somewhat of the same effect provided the tint isn't extreme.

When I get my mirrors (which should probably be at least another week) and install them, I'll post up pictures and a little review as well. What we need is to find out where stick_1NZ purchased his and how well they work on his box.

Picked up my blue mirrors from the post office on Saturday and tried to install one of them during the hour before I had to go to work. Ended up breaking the control module in the driver's side mirror. It wasn't cool that the instructions were in Japanese.

So anyway I'll be bringing the box in to the dealership bright-and-early tomorrow to see if they can fix it. I'm going to make up a story about someone vandalizing my car. Ha.

Anyway if I get it all taken care of, I'll be a little bit more careful swapping out mirrors during the removal process.

Alright everybody! I went ahead and got my mirrors installed, but here's a little background to let you know what happened:

The first time I took the OEM mirror apart, I broke the window motor and couldn't put the original back in there. So I went to Toyota to get a quote, and they told me $315 with labor to get it in there. Wow. So I went through my insurance, Progressive, to see what it would cost me. When I brought it to their center, the tech put it back together for me and told me it wasn't broken, and I tested it out and lo-and-behold - it wasn't. Long story short, I brought it back to Toyota and had them install it for me for free, considering they told me in their quote that it was broken and needed to be replaced.

So, without further adieu, here are some pictures:

And just so you know, these blue mirrors make a world of difference. Originally I purchased them from Japan simply for aesthetics and the ability to block glare from other headlights. But the mirrors are much better than the OEM ones we have. They seem to be concave in nature and actually show more of the road than the stock ones. It reminds me of truck mirrors, if you guys and gals have been in trucks or ever drove one before.

So for the price I paid, $215 shipped from JDM Japan, it was DEFINITELY worth it.

My Jetta came stock with blue mirrors they are great water does not collect on them like regular mirrors and they do cut down on glare. I am not too worried about putting these on my box and worrying about backing up i have 5% tint all the way around so i am used to having to roll the windows down to back up at night lol.

By the way i like how they look good job man.

Make sure you get those on your Scion immediately. Really looks cool with our cars.

Plus the advantages of these mirrors totally offset the cost for me. I'm definitely extremely satisfied with the purchase price, considering they're imports. I think I got a great deal for all the features that I get out of them: aesthetics, rain repellent, low glare, and convex wide-angle view.
