So just cause I am curious, what would it take for someone to make those kind of lip kits? Like other than the cf? How would one go about making a mould? any ideas?

Probably depends how complex you want the lip to be. On a car audio forum i used to frequent, a guy did a build up on an entire body kit he built by hand. It doesn't look too bad (if you know how to fiberglass) but definitely labor and time intensive. Especially if you want it to look good and last.

I'm sure that if you read this entire thread, you could do it...

You can buy carbon fiber and lay it like you would fiberglass, you would need clear resin though to make the carbon fiber look nice.

There are a couple companies that would fabricate something for you in carbon fiber, it's just that one off fabrication is more expensive, unless they can find a bigger market for it. I don't remember what they are called but I have seen them on some of the reality shows like, Street Customs and the now dead Overhaulin, and Rides.

Maybe if we get a thread going, and get enough people interested, maybe they would design something?

coming from somebody that owns a company that does produce car parts money speaks more volumes then a forum with people who promise to buy it when its done. What any company not looking to gamble will say if you can get 10 or so people to deposit money on the project they'll make it happen.
