Default DDM Tuning HID's

ok guys... so i've searched and no answer to my question. I just recently purchased a 6k & 3k kit from DDM Tuning. Now I installed the 6k in the headlights with no problems and they work like a champ! I then moved on to install the 3k's in my fogs. I took the bumper off and wired up the 3k hids and well... one of the bulbs didn't work or so i thought. i swapped ballasts and bulbs and still no luck with one bulb. So, I went back to DDM and had them test the kit and everything worked. I then came home today and tried installing them again and same thing... only one bulb works! I'm getting frustrated now!

So, my question to you all is... Has anyone ever had a problem with installing HID's in their fog lights? I'm using 35w for both kits too. Thanks...

If you don't have one, get a digital multimeter. Test the actual harness plug on the side that's not working. If you're not seeing over 12volts, then something's wrong. Something may be wrong with the harness to the car.
Kind of hard to tell without looking at it.

I had the same problem. So I checked the wiring and found that I accidentally pulled one of the wires out of the hid harness a lil, so pushed it back in and it fired right up. I had to push mine in with a little force to get it to connect.

Had the same issue on my wifes corolla s fog lights which I used ddm tuning. I actually had a bad ballast but when I got it back same thing, flipped the harness and it worked, give that a try.

Try reversing the polarity on the plug going into the ballast. Sometimes the polarities get reversed and its just a simple turn the plug around.

Try it and see what happens.

Thanks for the suggestions and help guys... I'm going to give it one more shot this weekend and check everything out again before I just return the kit.

Don't get me wrong though, their Cutomer Service is great!! I'm just lucky I live in SD right by their shop too.

BTW this is the kit I purchased from them... The compact version is so nice and the HID's in the headlights are doing just fine!!

^Never had a problem from mine, nor have the 5 other people I personally know that run them?

Also, their customer service is far from terrible. Pretty great actually.
