it was actually the site that told me that they do not fit, that they were "falsely advertised" seems like poor practice and not the best thing to confess to if you aren't going to update the site to not state that claim...

I hate mods like this...imo and its only my opinion...these types of mods are what is holding back the scion scene. I see alot if these types of mods that were being done in the Honda scene a decade ago...now tho the honda guys are doing it right.
Spend your money the way you want but I just want to help progress the scion scene to a higher level. You will not see mods like these on feature cars, magazine covers or winning awards like the Ridler...just sayin

However, halos and stuff like this are quite large in the Japanese VIP scene... but they're retrofitting LS600 projectors in UCF31's...
Also, you'll rarely ever see anything newer than a 1970 model year being a Ridler winner... kind of an irrelevant compairsion.

I second this.

@Ricersux: Have you ever thought that the people that are putting these in their cars are not trying to be features in a magazine? lol. Same thing with women who like to dress fashionably every day who aren't trying to be in a magazine.
And I think what's really holding back the Scion scene is, well, Toyota itself not keeping up with their promises lol (new model every 3 years, no marketing, no more unique designs, etc).
(BTW, Honda ruined themselves with their unoriginal and uninspired cars. Acuras sedans are rebadged Honda Accords. Not to mention, even though Acuras are their luxury division, you're still surrounded by hard plastic. Lol!!)

The light will bolt in and there will be a gap between the lens and bumper.
With a little work you could add an LED row in that gap, that is the way to riddle.
