Default hitch install pictures

Sorry for the grainy pictures. Only had my iphone with me.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

Hitch was bent all to hell out of the box. Took a pry bar to get everything aligned. Had to remove single tow hook on driver side. $129 from etrailer.com with free shipping.

no towing.....it's just for hitch attachments (ie: cargo carrier, bike rack, etc.)....our first ski trip in the xB was pretty crowded.....we didn't have enough space for the family, supplies, and skis so I thought this would help. I might also pick up the Inno ski rack that our dealers sell.

bigpappa... I also bought one of those 'platform' racks... 22"X64" with a 1&1/2 lip around it. It has a 2' receiver on it, but for 19$, I got a reducer so it fits in our receivers.. Works great!!! No pics though..... jh

I bought the reducer too. There are more items on the market available for 2" receivers PLUS I want whatever I buy to work on my truck's 2" receiver too.

Toyota Doesnt' recommend towing with ANY of thier cars which is why they don't offer tow hitches for them. Doesn't mean it can't be done, just means Toyota wont back you doing it.

If I remember right however, what you're talking about might be for behind-a-camper towing(dinghy towing) an xB.

I would never put a hitch on it because if do try and tow something you could really screw up your frame

This is exactly what I am putting on a hitch/receiver for.......how is that working out for you? I have a KTM 400sx....not that heavy....was kinda wondering if I could pull it off.

LMK.

This bike weighs about 220 lbs..
Plus add 50 sumptin for the rack & 2"-1-1/4" reducer.
It hauls it just fine with the Curt Hitch

good luck...
