So I took your advice and grounded it to the chassis. This time the right side worked fine and the left had hyperflash, but the parking lights were the proper color. So I took a closer look at my connections and I think my problem the whole time was that I didn't crimp the scotchloks enough. I gave the one on the left a good crank with pliers and now everything works great.

Thanks for the help and advice fellas, except for CIONIDE, who just ripped on me the whole time.

Congrats tyler! Glad you got it all worked out. I love the look of the switchbacks next to HID headlights, and they can also be used as DRL's.

BTW, where did you mount the heat-sink plates?

Thanks, I can't wait to use them at night. The plates are mounted on those braces that sort of surround the headlight casing.

Behind the kick panel below the steering wheel, on the left side of the wheel, far right module. I'll try to post up a pic tomorrow after work, if nobody beats me to it. If anybody has a faster pic, then help the brother out.

Lightbulb

I want to place the LED bulbs Switchback flashing on the front and keep my original bulbs in rear and my keyless entry lock / unlock flashes continue to function normally.
Three small question, I `ve read so many things on many different forums that I am mix

1. Is it better to resistance or a flashing LED module?
2. Where is the flasher module on 2011 XB?
3. What is the proper LED flasher module LM449,CF18-04 and 81980 50030?

thank you for the right information and excuse my English,
I am French canadian!

This is the flasher you want:
http://www.v-leds.com/BlinkerWarning...-p4481146.html

NEW! Parking light flash confirmation WILL function.
(I have it, so I know it works.)

I posted the flasher module location in post #29, above. Sorry, no pics.

Thank you for your response and so must be the same as vleds( for 2 or 4 LED conversions.) and Ebay (Toyota vehicles 4 & 2 LED conversions ) and same #81980-50030...is it just or there a difference?

The 2 LED flasher module does not allow the parking light flash confirmation to work. The 4 LED flasher module can be used with either 2 LED bulbs or 4 LED bulbs. My first 4 LED module from V-LEDs (a few years ago) did not allow the parking light flash confirmation to work, but their new ones do. BTW, I only had the 2 switchback bulbs in my front turn signals, like you want, so I know this all works from personal experience. I can't vouch for the eBay stuff... it might be the old flasher module. I'm not sure why, but they all appear to have the same model #81980-50030

I'll take a chance with Ebay for $ 8 Cdn because v-leds me back almost $ 40 Cdn with shipping, item is currently out of stock.

Could vouch for things on eBay ...

My question is! Bulbs LED Switchback 7443 it will function in the socket 7440. I know that the 7443 is the double filament and the 7440 is single, are there problems for Scion xB 2011

I saw on the blog iJDMTOY this: "Finally, you can install 7443 switchback LED bulbs for single filament 7440 turn signal light housings ."

To reassure me that i made the good purchase

ally, you can install 7Finally, you 443 switchback LED bulbs for 7440 housings
