Since I moved to a state that doesn't require a front license plate, I was considering getting a Japanese front license plate for my xB. I've found a few different places that sell them. Opinions?

Seems like their plates are the cheapest that can be customized ($35), but they have black lettering and the black border around them.

A little more expensive ($90), but accurate green lettering and dimensions. They also offer a variety of different prefectures so you can choose what one you want.
Result 3: - eBay
Might just buy an actual Japanese plate and try that out. prices vary, but most seemed to be around $60-70.

In Japan, the license plates have a screw covered by a prefecture seal to keep the plate from being removed or tampered with. Anyone know where I could pick up something like this?

Plates aren't even supposed to leave Japan because they're government property and are supposed to be surrendered when junking or transferring a vehicle. Basically all real plates outside Japan are "stolen". That said, you'll have a super hard time finding the government prefecture seals new, broken maybe but I don't think you'll find any brand new. If you do let me know.
