New Custom Front Lip, not a Home Depot lip!

I'm getting ready for a little rage reviving a dead thread but does anyone know of any similar projects? I know you can get civic front lips for under $50. there are also some other cheap universal lip kits. I've been interested in the middle ground between the home depot and $300 custom front lips. would you share the measurements ? anyone know of cars with similar front ends?

Just look around for cars with similar curvature. Keep an eye in traffic and in parking lots. Just don't look like too much of a creeper.
One lip that I was considering was the Seat Cupra R lip. About the same price as the Focus SVT and it has a much different look. Could work really well.

Most of the Civic front lips will not fit because they are not long enough...not saying that they cannot work, but it would take more work. The SVT Focus lip worked because it was plyable enough to curve to the xB's bumper, and I asked some of my old buddies on focusfanatics.com to give me a rough measurement of the lips.
Another lip that should work would be a 03-05 Mustang Mach1 front lip. It is made of the same plyable plastic as the SVT Focus lip and it is even longer than the Focus lip...I know this because I had a Mach1 lip on my old Focus...

Can't recall the measurements exactly, just take a tape measure and get a rough length of the bottom of the bumper from wheel well to wheel well and measure some other cars and go from there...

At my college we have an industrial design department. my roommate is in that major and we're talking about making a cardboard template and vacum forming a plastic piece over it. It may or may not happen but if it does i'll post some stuff here, i dont know where to start with designing a lip though.
