Default PAM Kitchen Spray as bug shield?

To make highway bug splatters easier to remove, has anyone had luck using PAM KitchenSpray?
-I have heard that if one sprays it over the front end before a trip, the splatters wash off alot easier.
-I'm waiting for other's opinions/experiences before trying the PAM method myself.
-My Super White is very white, and I'm trying to keep it stain-free (from bugs, or PAM)!

OR, is there a specific automotive product that does the same thing? (like a silicon spray?)

Avoid butter flavor -- Superwhite turns to Melted butter-- degrease with rubbing alcohol outside away from the water heater!

? WTF
is it just me, or did i mis something.

i also have a white box. i don't worry about it unless im on the way to a show, then i use painters tape. i pull up at the car show and a few pulls and is off , no bugs no nothing.
painters tape comes off very easy and leaves nothing sticky behind and doesnt hurt anything. its about $5 a role and i can cover the hole front + the mirrors with about 3/4 of a role.

i know i know, its not cool to role around town with blue tape all over the front of your car, i ONLY do it on the way to shows.

Thanks All.
Since no one took my Pam spray question seriously, I realize now that I was suckered-in by an urban legend. Oh Well, Live and Learn.

They do make a spray on clear bra that washes off with soap and water. Or you could get the venture shield or 3m paint protection. It's spendy, but cheaper than painting.

I've done the tape and it's a PITA, I have my hood covered in venture shield and my front bumper/lip is covered in 3m and venture shield. I don't have to worry about tape, bugs or rock chips.

I will be the guinea pig.
-Before my next cross-country bug-killing trip (Thanksgiving?), I will spray one side of front with plain PAM, and leave the other half untreated. I will let you know if the bug splats wash off any easier.

You might want to spray that somewhere you won't notice if the spray reacts with the paint and ruins it first.

My PAM spray is going back to the kitchem!
-After Googling, I discovered an "easy on-easy off" product called "Diamondite Bug Blocker". Then, I found it available at eBay Motors. I've got 6 bottles on the way.
