Default Redline Tuning Quicklift kit!!!!!

So i was fortunate enough to have this sweet thing installed on my car.

Brain and his partner were both really cool and down to earth people- thank guys

So what i learned while they were putting it in is that: This kit- like the rest was built just the scion xb2. It should be up for sale within the month. The install really only takes about a half hour, and is idiot proof as long as you follow the directions. The brackets and arm are made out of top quality stuff.

for more info go to

http://www.redlinetuning.com

pictures!

As for how it works.......

This thing is sweet, when you pull your hood latch and open up the hood, you lift the hood to about half way and then the lift takes the rest. The quiklift keeps your hood open without the need of the stupid arm thats in the middle of engine bay.

This is def. something to get if your constitantly working in the engine bay, or even for keeping the hood open to clean. Or simply displaying off the engine bay at shows, its looks legit and proffessional.

any other questions ask here and ill do my best...

but otherwise go to http://www.redlinetuning.com

or email brian at:

Default lifts...

Does it require any cutting of the inner cowl lining?

good job AMAN thanks to you now we finally have a proper hood damper kit. looks like the dampers tuck right into the little flare in sticking out of the fender. can you confirm?

and now you have to get some sexy in the engine bay so that you have something to show off!

edit:: also can you post a non-wide angle pic from the side? i want to see how high it lifts

I'm in contact with Brian at Redline Tuning. As soon as they are available (a few weeks), I will post it to this thread so that we can swamp them with orders!

Maybe they could work with SL and get a group buy? Either way, I'll be getting some.

Nice they finally got a kit together for the xB2, I have the Quicklift Elite on my xB1 and really like it, makes working in the engine bay much easier and looks good at shows.

My name is also Brian, could you edit the top post on this sentence?

It happens alot and just kinda bugs me, I'm not a lab mouse with visions of world domination and an archnemisis hamster named Snowball.

just received my set and installed it. to be completely honest it doesnt go up and down very smoothly...

also, i was under the impression that these would open the hood higher than the stock hood prop. it only holds it up to about the same height and thats a bit of a disappointment to me..
