Default So it begins... the MONSTER BOX

ok, here's the game plan. instead of taking the toaster in a typical tuner direction, i was feeling a little saucy and decided to shoot for a...more unique approach.

mainly, a more rugged, offroad-looking xb2.
looking for suggestions for the following:

1.) Black Offroad steel wheels...sizes? stock wheels are 5x114.3 lug nuts i think... not sure how steel wheel measurements work.
2.) how big can i make the rubber on it before it'll rub? looking for the tires to be pushed out of the wheel well a bit..
3.) brush guard?
4.) Light Bar?
5.) Lights? thinking PIAA lighting

On top of that, I am gonna paint the hood black (white car), bluebat vinyl overlay, and some HIDs.

NOTE: THIS IS MAINLY FOR ASTHETICS. THERE WILL BE NO OFFROADING. (except for the occasional snow banks). but you get the point.

So yeah, anyone have suggestions?

See if you can get a custom lift kit made. I think the xB2 would look killer slightly lifted.
This whole project is def interesting. Good luck with it.
xB2 is not a box.

Definately a unique concept, but be careful with it. The 4x4 community will probably laugh at a FWD wagon on knobby tires, and I've seen some horrid lifted unibodies. It has potential if done well but would be hard to pull off without looking tacky. I'd suggest you may want a more urban look better suited to the xB2. I think a VIP / Lux look would be a better route, not Pimp My Ride w/ huge 22's but more tasteful w/ just black, chrome, and interior upgrades. Either that, or old school gangster like the 1930's mob cars.

ScionPro was making a kit but looks like they only had the spoilers. If you could find a way to pull off the lower kit without the huge wings I think it would look pretty good.
