I'm considering removing the hatch "xB" badge, but I'm not sure how. Is it held on with tape? Glue? Does removal require a hair dryer? Something else? I don't want to risk the paint and clear coat. Any experience with this?

Well, I actually used a piece of dental floss and used it like a saw until the emblem came off. Then i used a dry buffer and got the glue or whatever really hot until it kinda just peeled off. And then whatever was left came off with some goo-gone and some elbow grease. Voila. Badgeless.

 

x2 on the dental floss or fishing line+heat

 

after you remove the badge, be sure to wax the area

 

or itll look cloudy in that area
