I wonder if the dark tint will absorb heat from the HID? Plastics and heat usually don't like each other, except during manufacturing.

Me with LOL i don't know i just like typing it. Well when i Get the hid's I am getting the new head lights and i am not tinting them cause they are going to have the black housing. But I am going to try the hid's with the tinted headlights to find out. Well here are the pics of all the lights tinted front back and side markers and backup light.

I could of put one more coat on the rear if I wanted but I dont want the back lights to be real dark so no one will see them LOL!!!

Looking at your second pic, I wonder if it would be possible to get an LED mounted in the mirror pod to light up your TEIN logo on your door, like how the airlines do their tails? Wonder if it would be legal, too.

Yes it is possible, I have four LEDs mounted in the base for the mirror shining down the side of the door. No it is not legal, at least not here in CA with my purple lights.
