Default TRD sticker?

I bought my wife a TRD oil cap (the one with the red TRD sticker) well someone put the sticker on incorrectly and now when the oil cap is on the TRD sits crooked. I have tried contacting Toyota about getting a new sticker with no luck. Any thoughts or suggestions? My wife loves the TRD sticker so putting on a different sticker is not an option at this time ( I make BoxGirl happy and she buys me stuff for my XB.... I just look stupid)

God bless
John

how does it sit crooked? like its adhered on offset from center?

if when you tighten it and its just not reading left to right or something just screw it off, position it differently and screw it back on till it reads right. if the sticker truly isnt adhered on properly then just take it back and get them to get you a new one

Sorry about that. I have tried turning the cap and putting it on differently and it wil not show the sticker correctly. So the problem I am having is in getting a new sticker to replace the one that was put on incorrectly.

God bless

is the sticker a paper sticker or a vinyl / resin coated sticker? If it's vinyl or resin coated, you can heat it up slightly. or dive around the block a few times untill the box comes up to operating temp and get an exacto or razor blade under an edge of the sticker and slowly peel it back. i do stress SLOWLY.. once off, tighten the cap securely and re apply the sticker. a little bit of spray adheasive will help it stick, or even glue stick in a pinch..
if it is a paper sticker, dont even try to remove it, it will rip.. just take it into a toyota dealer, and demand an exchange.. or as suggested, buy a new sticker in a pack of 4 and sell the other 3 on e-bay or craigslist for a tasty profit.
remember, if you need one, chances are there are a few good folks out there that need one too!

The sticker is a metallic vinyl style, and is intended to be placed on the oil cap once it has been fully screwed on.
