What are you looking for?

Options:
AVS seamless ventvisors - really clean & tight, nice look with almost no protruding visor beyond the body lines.
JDM Rumion visors - protrude way more, but original JDM.
JDM copies - same look, but not JDM and much cheaper.
WeatherTech in channel - clean & tight, but look much more aftermarket & busy.

There are many threads on all of these. SEARCH is your friend.

i did search. unfortunately the threads i came up with had dead links or vague descriptions. what i want is an actual link to an actual product someone used that has a good fit.

the reason i asked for an ebay link is i have a gift certificate for ebay i want to use.

as for which brand in particular, i don't care. i'm not really getting them for looks, i just hate having water jump in the car when i have the windows down. all that matters to me is the price. i'd like to keep it at around $50.

I own the Weathertech visors. The quality can not be beat. They look great on the tC. Plus you don't have tape holding parts to your car, IMO that's cheap. But to each his own.

These are what I have, and as far as I am concerned (personal preference, I know) they are the best. Nice clean tight look, and no wind noise, but I never drive with the windows cracked in the rain so I don't know if they'll fit your needs. My understanding is that all of the different vent visors allow water to flow in when it's raining due to the airflow involved.

those are nice cionide. i'll agree they look great, probably the best of the bunch, but i just can't see myself spending close to $100 for them. anything closer to $50 with a good fit is what i'm looking for. the actual style doesn't matter at all to me. the fit is everything.

These are the JDM knock-offs that most people have:

They're right in your price range, have free shipping, and are actually almost $7 cheaper from Speed-Element on eBay than they sell them for on their own website.

I installed the Weathertech in-channel visors on mine. I keep the windows cracked all but the serious winter months and they do very well IMO.

Thumbs down

well, i got screwed royally. i purchased them and got them today and they are completely different that what is pictured in the auction (the color is much lighter. i wouldn't even call it smoked.), they don't fit at all (gaps all over the place. the pieces for the rear don't even cover the whole window. they are actually short a few inches.)

basically, it was a total bait and switch. i've contacted the seller already and requested a full refund. i've also gone ahead and filed a dispute with paypal to get the ball rolling. this is the most outrageous thing i've ever had happen with ebay.

here's a list of the auction. i'll try and get pics of the garbage they sent me as soon as i can.

DO NOT BUY FROM MODIFIED CONCEPT SCIONLIFERS!

Sorry to hear it. When you get it all worked out (or sooner if you don't want to wait), buy these... well worth the extra $6, they're the Rumion knock-offs everybody else gets & are happy with.

this was a total bait and switch. i'll post up pics and let you guys be the judge.

on a positive note, the seller has responded already and hopefully this can be worked out amicably. but that will not happen unless i get a full refund.

I think most eBay sellers are responsible when things go wrong, but some are clearly s--t. I ran into an example of the latter variety 1-3/4 years ago -- really p--sed me off! His seat covers came nowhere near fitting my 1990 Eclipse GSX, but he refused to take me seriously! "WeeWillyWonka" on Ebay -- guess I should have known up front just from the name !.

i went ahead and ordered the visors cionide recommended. still upset but i want those things on the car already.

communication with the seller is a joke. he swears the pic on the auction is of the actual item and now paypal is ruling on whether or not i get my money back. i hope modified concept gets ***** cancer.

i win.

from paypal.

After carefully reviewing your case, we've determined that you'll be
eligible for a refund (excluding handling and shipping) once you've
returned the merchandise to the seller.

Once you have returned the merchandise, you will be covered under PayPal
Buyer Protection and eligible to receive a full refund.

a little justice for the consumer.
