How much did you spend? And is there a gap by the mirror like the Speed Element ones?

 

I got the Rumion style ones too from Ssuperstore.com and was originally worried about the fitment. I installed them a couple of days ago and the fitment and quality was very very good.

 

+1 on the WeatherTech visors. I picked up my xB on Tuesday, and snapped them in on Wednesday in less than five minutes for the whole car. They fit perfectly, and the dark tint is an exact match to the rear window tint. I have had them on every car i have ever owned. Well worth the price of entry IMHO.

 

For the seamless vent visors is it possible to shim them out with a strip of plastic? That would take care of the complaint many have about the gap being too small.

 

I just took a look at mine - they sit inside of the xB's bodywork around the door frames when mounted properly and the doors are closed. It looks like trying to shim them out would look bad.
Can it be done? Yes.
Will it look good? No, not IMO.

 

ive had the weather techs on for about 2 months now as previously posted over and over they fit pefectly no tape inside the window track install time about 5 mins

i personally took these over the seamless because i have the carbon fiber window trim stick on over stick on would just be rediculous

 

If you want to be the first to try it, I'd say go for it!

Mine rattles from time to time.

 

Just to clarify, the front in-channels don't require any tape within the channels; however, the rears do. Otherwise, the rear visors would tend to travel down when lowering the rear windows. The fronts are anchored by the rear view mirror supports.

 

does any1 know where i can get the perfect fit window visors for my 2011 xb?

Any visors that fit 2008-10 will fit the 2011 also. No changes occurred to that area of the body work or doors, just the front & rear facias and lights.

 

I just bought some speed element ones, they are notorious for a gap near the front but nothing a little 3m tape will fix ;)
we'll see when they arrive.

Those are the "in channel" window visors, with a slightly different look than either of the other two styles. WeatherTech makes the highest quality of these type for about $100. You can also find cheap knock-offs on eBay for half that price, but I suspect their quality is right up there (or down as the case may be) with the reputation of other eBay knock-off crap.

CIONIDE would u say the clip on ones r better then the taped ones? quality? and will they fit better? if so then im willing to pay a little bit more for them cuz i know it will b worth it.

 

I wouldn't say one style is better than another, it's all a matter of personal taste. I like the look of the AVS seamless vent visors, which is why I bought them. It didn't bother me that they use 3M sticky tape to mount them. If the tape is an issue for you, then get the in-channel visors.

 

the tape isnt a issue for me, its just i want them to fit correctly, and it doesnt seem like all of the other types of visors fit

 

My AVS Seamless Vent Visors fit just fine, and the lines blend right in with the other window trim. If you want the vent visors to look like a mod you added to the xB, then these are not the ones for you.

 

no im looking for window visors that fit perfect and dont have extra lol, the avs ones u have would b perfect.

Yea, those are the seamless vent visors that I've been talking about, but your pics show them a lot better.
