Default HELP!!!! Xb2 Won't go into gear!!!

Hi. so I've had this issue on and off for over a month... I've replaced the master, slave, and hose on the vehicle. It worked for maybe a few days then it went to hell today:-won't go into any gear while running-If my foot is on the clutch and try to go into gear it moves but doesn't go into gear fully-I've bled it 3 times-No leaks-will go into any gear with the vehicle off-I haven't changed the trans fluid yetAny help would be much appreciated

There is push-rod between pedal and master cylinder.

Adjust this rod so it’s about 1/4” longer.

Also if it works after replacing all those parts and bleeding, but fails after a while. That means one of those went bad! Did you buy factory OEM parts from authorised Toyota dealer?

If not, return all those parts and get genuine factory OEM parts from authorised Toyota dealer only! Aftermaket 3rd-party parts are notorious for being low-quality and can be defective fresh out of box! Especially electronics!

Hose was from Amazon, slave and Master came from Orileys. The master was a cast aluminum piece not a plastic one like the original i pulled out.

Something is still failing after replacement. Swap only one part at time to determine which one failed.

Default Adjustments made

adjusted it in and out no change I have to put the car in gear with it off to move it at all. could it be the master still or is it the clutch being old and not releasing. I read something about someone replacing their clutch and finding broken springs in the pressure plate. If I have to replace it so be it the car has 217xxx..

What would all new clutch parts, whole system, cost you from toyota? If cost doable thats the route i would take and good to go for another 200k.I would put in new clutch plate, pinion bearing and pressure plate, they are due. Then if still not working get a master, then a slave, and a new line from toyoter if trying to do for least cost.
BUT,in my book, its OEM all the way, anything else is futile IMO.

See if you can have a look at eh clutch fork through the access plate. Also if you do go the route of replacing the clutch order one from Luk. They actually make the clutch for Toyota and it's a lot less expensive to get it directly from them. I've been running one for years.

I just ordered the clutch and flywheel from LUK. It was over $100 cheaper on Amazon.

Great advice and job folks.Did you get the pressure plate and throw-out bearing in a kit from Luk? Yes,I have a lot of parts for my Lex from OEM suppliers like Aisen ,and our Toyota and many others' OEM brake pads are Akebono also at a good savings.

Regarding chinese reman parts i had 3 straight faulty units from carquest alternators including the 3rd that caught on fire on my dodge truck,I ordered the new manufactured alt on it was just fine. When jeepster needed a starter went the new china on that, also no problems.Their horrendous brake shoes are cardboard quality, drums need turning out of the box.

Hmmm, lost a whole spring seat there. It doesn't look like you have enough debris in your hand to match one of the spring seats... Did you find the rest?

I am experiencing the same thing with my 2012 XB. This video shows exactly what I am seeing. I replaced my Master and slave. Still having the same issue. Not always. When it does go into gear it works perfectly, no slippage or anything.
Looks like the guy in the video used a screw driver to seperate the clutch and the fly wheel from sticking together. I dont think the XB has a cool little access port.

Any advice? Were you experiencing the same thing?
