Scion xB, Rumion AWD Conversion?

Truth. It would take a lot of searching Japanese auto recyclers, a lot of looooong distance phone bills, and ultimately learning the Japanese language.
Or, if you want AWD that bad, trade your xB in lieu of a Subaru.

That Nissan Junk, I mean Juke, is definitely full of fail.
What Toyota product has the 2AZFE motor and is AWD? I thought the Rav4 was, but I could be mistaken...
I'm not sure what the gear ratio in the trans is, but you'd have to find either an IRS setup or solid axle with the same ratio. Could be slightly difficult, but that's the smallest of your worries. Converting the rear to a solid axle would be relatively simple. Making it perform well, well... would be a fairly difficult task.
The older bB uses a parallel 4 link setup, IIRC. However, I'm not sure if the upper mounting points are on our xB's.

Problem is that system is mated to a different engine, the Rumion uses a 1.5-1.8 L engine. It would be better to look at systems mated to the 2.4 L engine as there are probably differences in the engine to drivetrain mating. I would look at the Toyota Matrix/Pontiac Vibe AWD system instead.
