I had some trouble getting the Xtune software working but figured it out. After installing Xtune I kept getting an error msg about the work folder being missing. Then I installed one of APR's Taco base map calibrations, found your cal map on the flash drive and moved it to the APRcal folder. Works like a charm now in XP SP3 and Win 7.

Xtune looks a bit intimidating at first but I think I can manage it. I assume that the Mafadj table is for fine tuning the MAF (if necessary) after finding the correct MafID. Pull a little here, add there?

Anyway, thanks Paul. I'll probably call you tomorrow with questions.

Glad to hear you have it running. Check out the manual I wrote. It covers all of the details you should have questions on.

I am impressed. It took longer than anticipated to get the X1 installed due to other obligations and weather but today I finally completed the permanent installation. I'd been running it temporarily installed in the engine bay but couldn't do much with it like that. Even so, initial OBD2 logs showed LTFTs in the 0 to-6% range with STFTs ranging from 0 to 2%. Except for hot idle which is still a problem. Hot idle STFT still hits +20% as it did with the FIC and I'm not sure why. A vacuum leak or any post-MAF intake air leak would explain it but I haven't found any yet. Still looking.

On the positive side, the engine starts just like oem now. It no longer has to crank twice as long before starting like it did with the FIC. It also reads accurate rpm and TPS without any user calibration. It's not perfect yet but initial impressions are that it starts off much like a pro-tuned FIC or Ultimate and just gets better from there as you fine tune it.

More to come...

Adjust your stock size to maybe 295 or 287 and play with the injector size number. I had to use 305 for stock and 287 for the other size to get a stock vehicle to run right for trims. My ST is +3.9 and LT is -3.9. That negates to 0! Make sure your idle area from 0-1250 rpms is at "1" in the inj adj table. Then proceed to do the rest of your injadj map as planned.

Also, make sure you only adjust trims at full normal operating temp and during a cold start or anything like that.

Thanks buddy, I need it...

I'm still trying to get the software working correctly. As of now I can't save changes or data log. The software gives an invalid path error msg on cal file saves and crashes when data logging. The X1 itself works great but I need to make a few tweaks and the SW isn't cooperating.

I did, thanks Paul. Problem solved by changing a folder name.
