This is the best way to describe it...

Yes, we designed our DESCENDANT kit to use a side mount intercooler because installation of a front mount intercooler on a 2008+ xB requires major cutting of the front bumper & chassis. For packaging & efficacy reasons the side mount is the best in our opinion for a daily driver application.

couldnt you just get a smaller IC that would bolt right up to the chassis and front bumper though...from my understanding if ur xb is going to be a daily driver anyways the huge front mount IC isnt going to do u much good. So a smaller IC like TT makes for the simple kit would actually be better considering how big the turbo the driver gets. also if ru living in cali then the stealthier the kit the better.

Front mount is defiantly possible and something we may consider in the future as a RACE kit or something but for now we love our little side mount...stealth, efficient & unique

We have considered doing a full S.S. DESCENDANT Exhaust System for the 2008 + xB but for now we are really satisfied with the Tanabe systems. These systems are extremely high-quality and are manufactured by one of the most successful Japanese Tuner shops. I have these in stock ready to ship if anyone is interested!

The T70129A is my favorite!:-)

Aren't those only axle-backs though? I'm pretty sure people are dying to have full "header-back" exhausts.

The DESCENDANT test mules all rock stock clutches for now. We've been able to get good numbers on OEM parts but keep in mind the test mules we use drive off the lot...get racked...then TURBO! They have 100 miles or less on them and we are dealing with brand new parts.

We've ran several different combination's on our Scion tC Time Attack program and because of that are able to recommend different clutch packages depending on what the customer or driver is looking for. Call me if you have any questions.

How does the stage 5 treat you when cruisin Colfax? I bet it is great for launching. But with mother in the car I might want something with a little give.

Also, I'm really more interested in a time attack car than a 1320 king.

Also, is that the same clutch they sell for the TC or is it XB specific.

so I'm almost ready to go turbo, I basically have all the parts except the downpipe and the harness, which the harness I don't really need I guess cuz I can hardwire, but I def need the downpipe.

So I go over to a shop thats real close by me RPM North, seems to be pretty reputable, and tell the guy what I need. I didn't tell him that I had most of the parts already.

The guy gets on the phone with somebody for a little bit. I come to find out later it was Chris Rado who apparently was pretty good friends with this guy and told the guy I could wait and buy this kit.

I just thought it was funny. Unfortunately all I was looking for was the downpipe...
