DESCENDANT Ver2.0 has arrived!
#61
Hey Rob I met a guy at remix last yesterday from Descendant and he was telling me about his xb at the scion booth...I was wondering if that was you.
Also I'll be stopping by to check this kit out very soon. I just got the car out of paint and a turbo would complement it very nice lol.

No turbo kit will ever be legal on the xb2 because the cat is removed that is on your stock header (I think I see one on the s-pipe though for this kit?). I still want one of these bad boys! Too bad Im broke...

also, do you recommend any places that can install and tune it close to northern New Jersey?

Yes, is designed to bolt up to the stock s-pipe or aftermarket.

If you are in New Jersey I'd recommend you visit our headquarters in Reading, PA. Eric's currently offering some great deals that include free install. Call me for more details.

yup, I've got a 2010. What is it 2 years, or after 4 years in CA? I forgot. If it needs any warranty work I'll just have to make sure i get a chance underneath before hand.

AFAIK the stock AT can't handle 300whp but you could always detune it to <250whp for the AT or spend a few grand beefing up the tranny. At a minimum I'd suggest an external ATF cooler and better ATF when boosting a AT. I'm running a B&M cooler and Mobil One syn ATF with a custom kit at 7psi. No dyno but it should be in the ~225whp range.

Did you guys run into the same problems ScionFred has run into with the AEM FIC?
Also how come you guys didnt go with a full front mount intercooler like the TC kit? Is there not enough room in the Front?
