Basically, for the guys who already have the DESCENDANT xB2 side mount on their cars they will need to upgrade their kits with 2 new intercooler pipes & the new front mount intercooler. For guys who want the front mount with the purchase of a new kit it will be available at the same cost sometime before Xmas

Front mount core is rated 100 horsepower higher than side mount core. Either way both are good for 450 WHP+

Just add a good ATF cooler, full-syn ATF, keep the boost at or below 6psi and don't beat the s___ out of the tranny. 25k miles on mine so far with no problems. My ATF looks and smells like new.

Thats what I'm talking about! Same deal with several of the AUTO tC's & xB's we've done. As long as you don't greedy you can daily drive a boost AUTO Scion all day!

On these cores Im assuming there is a plate seperating the inlet and outlet holes? I was just curious as Ive never looked inside a core with same side inlet and outlets. THanks! Also, will you be able to show/tell us how much of a gain over the regular side mount IC one can expect?

No gain...it's just more efficient because of its overall size difference.

Yes, when both outlets are on the same side its called a double pass core which has a divider plate that seals off one side from the other.

IPT told me that I would need a complete trans re-build to handle that much power reliably. They don't believe the clutches, bands, pump, etc. are up to the task. Apparently Level Ten believes the only weaknesses are the VB and TC.

Any warranty?

After my buddy decided not to turbo his xB, I've been eyeing this kit.

My conclusion: I need a third job.

When using the side mount intercooler YES, OEM Fog Lights are OK.

When using the front mount intercooler NO, OEM fog lights will not work
